Trying to make a website

Post by trabre2003 »

I've been trying to make a website on geocities to showcase some of the movies i've done, but i don't have enough storage space on the site for them. Any ideas for an alternate way of getting my movies online? I don't want to spend a lot of money either. Any help will be appreciated.

You could use a free service like www.video.upload.google.com or http://www.putfile.com (not reccomended) but they don't give you much memory. If you use Macintosh, you could upload them to iDisk.

Thanks, i'll look into all of these.

EDIT: Ok just looked at them, but they all have restrictions like, you need to have all copyrights, and no violence. The movies i want to post up have violence and one has a matrix parody, and i don't have copyrights on any of the music. is there any way i can get around that? How does Matt Hawkins do it?

Just looked again, well what do you know, it doesn't! I'll probably order that. Two questions though, one: is there anything else I should know about before ordering, and two: if I have a site up already at geocities, can i just move my site to brivtech, or how does that work? Thanks again.
