Google Earth

Post by aaronv2 »

http://earth.google.com/

Don't know if you have seen this or not yet but its pretty damn cool... go anywhere you want on earth... see your house from a satellite work out how far your house is from neverland ranch if you like.

but whats more interesting to me is its abilities to generate and draw in real time thousands of polygons to show on the map as if you are flying through a 3d city imagine back in the days of 3 1/2 inch floppy discs if you said in 10 years you could be flying through a 3d city of new york

Yea, but how would you record it? You could take a snapshot everytime you click zoom once then speed it up.
