well there really is almost none as far as i can tell. 1.5 has a totally different user interface. the motion controls are quite a bit different. i like 1.5 a little better because of the way it is setup. 6.0 and 6.5 are both very similar. i do no think that 1.5 has any new options, although i did get a few free plug-ins after I registered 1.5 which were kinda cool. it is a plug in called magic bullet movie looks.

Some people on matthawkins suggested that I use 6.0 or greater for some of the effects.

Ummm not sure about the question, just to make sure you understand the Premiere version numbering...
1.5 is higher than 6.0. Premiere Pro 1.0 was also billed as premiere 7 Premiere pro 1.5 is the latest release in the series....

Thanks raptor, the numbering totally throw me off! This clarifies things for me since I was going to go buy 1.5 when I got my editing computer. Didn't want to spend 2,660 USD for all my equipment and then have a lower version of Premeire.
