Cheap PC Deals

Post by El Brenty »

If you come across any good deals on PC hardware, post the links here.

Here's a good one I came across Maplin Electronics. They have stores around the UK, and also have a good online ordering facility. At the moment, they've got some good Pre-Christmas sales offers on things like Hard Drives, and Graphics Cards.

Yes, but where did you get it from. In this thread, we're not interested in what you bought, but where you bought it from.

I'm yelling at you a lot today!

Sorry!

Here's another site I came across today. This company has a limited range, but they are extremely cheap!!!

For example, a manufacturer was goig to put DVDs into their PCs, but then changed the specs at the last minute, and changed them over for CD-RWs. The manufacturer then sold off the DVDs cheap, and this company are selling them on, complete with the DVD software for only about £15.

1 big drawback - they whack on a big carriage charge, so unless you're going to get a few large items from them, expect to pay a lot for carriage - Something that made me cancel an order I was about to place.
