I don't think finding a cheap one is a good idea nor is making one, I'm pretty sure you can't buy it anywhere legally because it could give you an advantage against armed policemen.

I think they sell some fake Kelvar vests and such, but only if you're willing to shell out a good deal of money for them.

American policeman wear kevlar vests under their uniforms.
You can definately buy them. You can buy up to class 4 for sure. But it's not cheap.
Surplus (vietnam) vest would cost up to like 100 bucks a piece, I think.

Did you want it to actually be bullet proof or just to look like one?

This is a military MOLLE vest. It has pouches inside that marines slip in Kevlar Plates. So it could be bullet proof, but if you need it just for a prop then its perfect and cheap.

I think that you should get a proper 1 just encase the cheap 1 that you get is not bullet proof.

Of course the cheap ones are not actually bullet proof. The are look-alike replicas (toys) that are dirt cheap. Why don't we just buy the real ones? Because they cost around $300 USED.

you can get ral ones but i have a good look a like one that is just a paintballing jacket that i got and i got it printed on by a local printing ompany email me if yout to see some pictures
