thought it might be helpful to the (admittedly small) number of Aussies on the forum. It's pretty good if you live in Melbourne or Perth, but not much in the way of anywhere else, worth reading if you are interested and some good links too.

Thanks mate. I haven't had a chance to read it yet but i was wondering recently about how one would go about getting a foot in the Aussie film industry door. I just read "Rebel without a crew" (Fantastic book. One every amatuer film maker should read). It is about how Robert Rodriegez (?) was "discovered", and how his $7,000 dollar film "El Mariachi" started his career. Great read. And it got me think about how to do it in Australia.
