i read a post saying you should start out with photoshop and simpler products. i have a basic understanding of 3d

what is the easiest 3d design product that can actually produce decent 3d images?

I.e. 3ds max?
Lightwave?
Cinema 4d?
Maya?
any others?

for the muzzle flash id just use a regular no gravity explosion over the video, but i have to give you props for that. ;)
