RE: wut is this song?

It's from the film Requiem for a Dream by Clint Mansell and the track is either Lux Aeterna or Cleaning Aparment. If you want them, come on MSN.

RE: Pressured (Old School Film)

Thank you. I suppose I should say well spotted with the "actors" but it's probably more blatant than anything else :D Thanks for your comments, anyway.

The Deal

Good old fashioned Saturday afternoon film with no plot! Lovin' the rubbish exposure!

EDITED: For some reason, I named this post "The Nemesis". Not the name of this film. But another.

Pressured (Old School Film)

I made this back in September, last year. Was great fun to make and it was the first "proper" film that I finished. I'm miles better now but I still have great memories from this and I refuse to make any excuses for it :D

RE: visions of sin

It sounds a bit like Unbreakable. It definitely has potential, but perhaps he could see the sins in a different manner than touching them? Maybe just with eye contact. Imagine not being able to look in to people's eyes without seeing their sins? That would drive him to suicide.

Thanks, Brent! It's called the Canon XM1 (known in America as the GL1).

Isn't that right, Dave?

Well, my camera's (Canon XM1) weight is 1.2 kg, the tripod I use is the Slik 504QF, the filter diameter is 58mm and the size of the LCD is 2.5 inches.

For the MVX100i, I couldn't care less!

RE: What colour is your camera strap !

For my Canon MVX100i, it is dark grey with the Canon logo in white. With the XM1 (GL1), it is black with the Canon logo in white. :D

I bought 10 unused (obviously) MiniDV tapes off eBay for £15 quid. They were £30 in the shops.

RE: Your style

I have a mix of styles which I've gotten from TV, films and ... erm, Sean Bagley? I like a huge variety of different shot lengths - I use a lot of quick cuts (more than you, Dave!) but I do love a good long take as long as it's not done for the sake of it - I need to make it feel sort of necessary. ...

"The Nemesis" - Teaser Trailer

Here's the teaser trailer for my new film, The Nemesis - many thanks to youngfilmmaker for the music (and thanks to Gyro for the inspiration ;)) Here you go: YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usN-1VhOFQA (this is filmed in widescreen, but YouTube made it look awful!) You can't really have a "style" of cinematography for a zombie film, really. I suppose that you could use plenty of Dutch angles as in the majority of horror movies.

I'll keep it simple. I want your movie posters in my film.

So I've been shooting a film on and off for a while now (titled The Nemesis), hence my absence from here. I'm filming indoor scenes next week and have been redecorating the house a bit with fake certificates for characters (like police officers etc.) Now I have a big blank space on my bedroom wall, ...
