As Ornsack said, 90% loose quality anyway- i don’t think you own a hollywood quality camera do you? Besides, it’s better to do it in post because you may change your mind

just a note- if your going to use 16:9 dont use the camera function rather do it in ur editing software because you may change your mind after its shot- ive had this problem.

Accept it or not, you can still serve a pretty hefty fine for doing it.
Epsilon, i wrote that "i CAN understand and ACCEPT the environmental hazards" meaning, i dont use said method anymore- hope that cleared it up for you

Yeah true, but i would enjoy it a lot more if i had a cast of people who loved it as much as i do- i think your lucky in that respect Grant, you have a group of mates who all love what they do- most of us are not that fortunate

Ornsack, regarding slowing down motion to half, ive found that if i slow it down to 50 then export it THEN slow it down half again i still get smooth slow motion- just a tip i picked up see if it works for you

Re-ping pong smoke bomb- i did that a few years back- i put about 5 balls in a fairly large piece of foil then rapped it up leaving a tube like hole at the top for the smoke to come out- it smoked for a good minute-

but, i can understand and accept the environmental hazards this has..

I prefer the large potatoes- one thing though if you make it out of PVC don’t overdue it in one go- shoot 5 or 6 times then let it cool- a mate of mines exploded on him with hot plastic flying right into his leg- sadly he lost both his eyebrows...

Why dont you drip it down from above- if its one drop i really dont think anyone will notice its from above- you could film him standing there- then include the moment just before the blood hits his head- join those together see what you get

I tried ordering from the store Grant suggested- im from oz btw- and i couldn’t because in my state [NSW] any replica guns are band UNLESS you pay an $800/5year performers license. Dam these times of uncertainty!
