Hmm so why did he initially inject intelligence and reaction into his Day 'zombies' only to then take it away in Dawn? Personally, Dawn is my favourite because it really set the benchmark for the genre and the FX for a 70s flick was out of this world! Back to my question… why did he 'dumb down...

Speaking of Land...i watched it the other day and I still don't understand why the black zombie was the 'leader' of the pack? Why did he have the 'brains' to problem solve situations? btw- its a fantastic movie- are there any more in the series? He seemed to have left it open for another..? Thoughts?

RE: "Little Black Riding Hood" (version 2)
Well said. I watched the original piece you made available months back and enjoyed it. Interesting new version, much tighter than the original yet you still kept what was good about the first piece. I like Dracula too, you guys are a little diffrent which makes watching fun.

Fair point...sometimes if you're lucky, you can get a darker sky. Try avoid directly filming the sky. I love the old Bond movies where it’s blatantly obvious they used this technique!

If no-one replies then try recording it yourself. Record a 'dead lock' being slammed shut- add in an echo-lower the pitch-experiment

DVD export troubles
Huge problem. I’ve created a 60 minute DVD in Ulead’s DVD WORKSHOP 2 and both times the discs have come out wrong. On the first one (Which was field based) the footage was choppy and had lines through it. The second disc (which I re-exported as Lower Field) did the same thing but this ...

All the things you said are worth trying! You're on to something now...I'm glad you didn't go into a huff about my comments as some do on here. I just want to help you mate. Now, I too liked the 'Darf Vader' reference. Sounds like the direction you want to take this in is a cross between real life a...

RE: Return of the Cloak
Ok cool-very cool now you have recaptured my attention! Don't be sorry, it's just you didn't build that momentum in the video. The first few mins are intriguing-then it just drags on. Is this serious? Is this a joke? If you want to add a funny edge, have a distorted face and voice explaining that he...

Set up your monitor
Set up your monitor for video editing correctly. I've found the 'Monitors Matter CheckScreen' program useful-someone else might find use of it too!

I think enhancing wouldn't be bad, but I wouldn't loop that stuff, I think it would add to the fake look. Either get a long shot of it for the entire clip or scene, or don't do it. Looped rain would just look dumb. True that looping ONE clip would look fake..what i did was download all the short fr...
