Basically go to my site. There are a few make-up effects on there. Just do the same kind of thing, but apply it to a broader area. You may want to model it after this. Of course, you could always just buy that prosthetic, but I don't think it wouldn't turn out that great.

You can edit your posts you know. Three posts in a row isn't necessary.

Make sure that the camera you get has a mic input... This will be very important later if not now. Most JVC's don't have mic inputs, so beware... Just something to consider...

How exactly would you go about filling a balloon with fake blood. You'd have to have some sort of pressure or something to get the balloon to expand. How did you fill yours...

I generally use the effect that's done on exposure. Works just fine for me... and it's cheap. The results look amazing when done properly.
