Yeah, well hope I have at least opened your eyes to the vast array of story ideas that are available. They are numerous.

Re: Battle of the Bulge script so far

THP, this is one of the worst scripts I have ever seen. Not necessarily because of the story. It isn't bad, well it is history so the story is already there. But more or less because of the formatting and planning. Soldiers walk for app. 15 seconds Camera cuts to Sgt. Messton unlatching his safety. ...

woah! I've never been into the "fate of the nation is in the hands of the few". Well this theory isn't commonly used, which makes it an excellent choice for a story. Interesting thoughts though... I was thinking more along the lines of, this is a story about five men that take part in the...

ever seen a movie were you were simply dropped into the middle of a story? I think I could just do that, have a narration at the begining explaining what started the war, and then pick up our mercenaries story after they've been in the war a while... I would think that would be the best way. Otherw...

mercenary123 i looked up "mercenary", the definition was "soldier hired for foreign service" There is a slight difference between a mercenary and a hit man. For instance like you said mercenaries are hired for foreign service. Lets just say a country is about to go to war, the c...

Asking us for the plot is asking us for the heart of your film. For gods sake , come up with one on your on! Don't ask us, were basiclly making film for you, and your just adding some action scenes. Thats pathetic! If your having trouble, do some research. Get a pieace of paper, sit alone for a few...

Well even me and Browncow agree on this matter. Anyone can set up a camera and dance for three minutes. The only reason it's funny is because the person is fat and dumb. Now maybe, just maybe a film that actually has a technical aspect, a storyline, and the slightest hint of effort should have won.

What bullshit? I'm giving the guy advice. You complain about me not giving people advice, and now the other way around. Make up your damn mind. My point is you are giving the cliche advice. You are giving advice you heard elsewhere. Give your own advice. And as Gyro said, they are friends that's co...

God, it's such a turn off and disapointment to see people asking to have scripts written for them. I do understand some of us just can't write. But that's not the point. Filmmaking is fun....doesn't matter how awful the script is, it's all about the final product and if you had fun doing it. Truggy ...

Sounds like a great project. The film...and the documentary is always a cool way of letting the world see the time and effort that goes into the creative process....not just anyone can make a film....kinda like some of the people on this site...they have the preconcieved notion that anyone can make ...

the whole thing seemed to be a set up for the "Second most populaer name b*tch" like. What was all that cr** about tuna, and communtiy jug...drug. The whole film was about two friends chilling in their basement. Playing poker, doing some drugs. The dialog is that of two bored, semi high, ...

Blade, I'm sure you have some insight into this matter... You were one of the judges right. Well if one of you could be so kind as to break down each film. Tell us the pros and cons of each films. I mean come on it's the least you guys could do, so the people who didn't win know why the other films ...

Luck is merely an action that comes with effort. If you try hard, chances are with you. If you do a halfassed job, luck turns to s***.
