Civilization is a much more vast word, and pertains to a civilized race. Mankind in the earliest ages weren't civilized. The overall topic of the poem is civilization and how it has turned to an "uncivilization" so to speak.

Was Jackass shot with film or DV? As much of a stupid homevideo as it looked, it had a lot of effort put into it. Not to mention a huge camera crew credited! Technical Specifications for Jackass: The Movie Film negative format (mm/video inches) 16 mm (opening and closing sequences) Video (HDTV) Cin...

http://www.bravenet.com has scripts for both of those. Bravenet is popular, but I honestly don't trust it. But at your own risk.

RE: submitting work help???
There is no link for submitting, you have to have your own web host or web space to host your film for viewing over here. You can opt to have your film or trailer showcased in the film gallery, but this site will not host your film for you. Epsilon I believe offers hosting of films over at his site ...

I use Rough Draft from time to time....it works, but not as good as we would like it to. The only problem with Final Draft is the price. But if you are willing to pay it....the newest version runs for $260. http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/71106/wo/e36tYmwsN71h3ZTJfx11...

RE: Permission to videotape
Eh, yeah I would say just film it....and worse comes to worse you make up some excuse like, "It's for school" But chances are they won't say anything with the caliber of camera you have and probably your age, I assume.

RE: Permission to videotape
If you wanted to talk to someone about actually getting permission about filming, going to the front desk and asking for the manager on duty would be your best bet. Like you said though, "The answer would probably be no". What I would advise doing, is just shooting your footage, no permiss...

RE: My bad experience
Final Cut Pro, does have it's advantages to Premiere but I would still advise a PC. Simply for the fact that as Grant said, there are so many parts manafactuers, prices vary for different brands and so on. Macs have one distributor, one parts maker.

RE: My bad experience
PC.....erm, they have the same problems at times, but not as common. They have been known to become bogged down if you don't have a sufficient amount of RAM, and the harddrives normally aren't big enough for all you need. All in all, I think PC's are better then MAC's but it all comes down to opinion.

I feel sometimes, people just want to spice things up a bit, make you feel more involved in the conversation. It all depends on the artist, Baz Lurhman did it a time or two as well in his films.

Blade, I hate to flame but this is a time that calls for doing so. Please just shut up Blade, the man is at least trying to get a film made, I haven't seen you do much, so who are you to say: It is the fact that you have NO idea what your doing. Blade, the fact is, he knows what he wants, and he kno...
