RE: Re: RE: New Resident evil script.........
Well you said your camera sucked, you COULD rent a good better quality camera, or find someone in your area who has a better camera and wants to help. I know it's your first film, but i'm interested to see the final product, and i'm just trying to help give you some ideas so you can get the best qua...

He's asking how to do muzzle flashes, and then have say a vase shatter corrospond the flash. Well, it's really very simple. If you can, I would say get some blank fireing guns, those do the most realistic flashes. If you can't , then you can composite a flash in with good sound in any simple compost...

RE: Re: RE: Muzzle flashes
You don't need AE or premiere to do it. Blank guns, althougth highly recommended, it's a big hassle such as kentertainment said, and some people can't afford them or get their hands on any. If you want to do this in photoshop, you can, and a good muzzle flash is no longer then a few frames anyway, s...

RE: Tazer electricity wave
Well, i'm not exactly sure how you would create visible electricty like that as a special effect, but as a visual effect I could help you. Althougth, you don't have any softwear yet, if you would like to learn, PM me and I can send you in the right direction.

Yeah, the people who said slingshot have a good idea. BB guns I think might work too. You could also have someone off camera shoveling dirt and stuff into the air for an explosion or sort. ( Gyro did this in forgotten. ) I don't really think a paintball gun would work, because you don't want to see ...

Um, you don't need any softwear really. Just smash the vase or table.

RE: Re: RE: What is a stock footage??
Yeah, raptors pretty much got it. Not much I can add really, but a lot of the times you see the term used on this site, people are talking about explosions, for example many people don't have premission to explode things, so they use stock footage of explosions, or pre filmed explosions and composit...

RE: PMW Updates!
Yeah! Great stuff! Cast carefully though, try and get actors that match the age of the marines your basing the story off of ( Well their age at the time of course! ) Keep us posted.

Yeah. I'll give it a look for you, when I can find some time. Them saying teaser is the right word to use, it does "tease" us about the film. Althougth, the snyposis and image were convincing, so I wanted to be more then teased. It's all well though, as for a teaser i'd give it a B.

RE: Movie Online: Dead Conspiracy (2005, Action)
Well, I downlaoded the trailer. From what I did see, it looked deccent. The plot synopsis looked good, so you've got the story. From a trailer prospective it didn't accomplish what I hoped it would. Whats that? To get me to want to watch the full thing! Althougth it was good, the music deffintly did...

I agree with SgtPadrino. If you're going to compare your film to one of the most anticipated MattHawkins forum films of the year, it better be bloody good. *LOL* Downloading.. Edit: Yeah, I agree with the above posts, it kinda wasn't that great. It's deffintly worth the effort, don't give up becuas...

Gyro, no offesne but that logic sucks. If the CG looks really good, and is done right, and is avalible to the filmmakers, whos to say they can't use it? Crappy frames, i'd have to agree with you. But hey, thats what were doing this for. To learn. And if their purpose isn't to learn 3D, but stick som...

Re: RE: Massive Armies
well green screening comes up a lot on this stie, and i think as amateurs it should be a LAST resort. Not just greenscreen , but ALL Visual effects in general should be a last resort to what you can't film live, or can't possible do. Greenscreen is NOT ideal at ALL for cloneing, I would use compost...
