I do think it will be good, but I do feel the CGI, and other effects needed will make the budget really high, and will take a lot of time to get right.

RE: Zombie School

Thank you for your comments. I agree some of it seems forced. This will be the next stage of the writing, as this first draught was written in a week. I will then dissect each section and act out - to myself and whoever else is working on it with me - all the speech to see if it works. I am sure qui...

RE: The Enemy Within

I liked it. There are a few scenes similar to 'Saving Private Ryan', like, him dragging the shattered corpse before he notices, and the shot through the scope of the sniper rifle. But, other than that the story is good. There are two discrepancies that I read: Someone says 'Smoke those sucker.' I'm ...

RE: Hellions - my short screenplay

It is good. I liked it. Just a few points: If a car is travelling at 100km/h it would not stop suddenly. Did Tax shoot Yun through the seat as he was lying on the back seats, or from the side? It will be a nice project with some good camera work. Just the blood and guts effects that might cause some...

Everyone else in the world who speaks English says Mum, except Americans.

It is funny that they still call it English there when they have destroyed it so much!

Why not call it Americanism.

I thought I would put the Synthesis, and the first draught of my script in the right place on the site. (It is too long to use in my movie course, but I may make it later on) Please read and review. Thanks. SYNTHESIS: A Presenter, with one Cameraman, has been sent to Kirkwall, Orkney to interview a ...

Have you been given any guidelines? Have they given/shown you any examples, because I suppose the best one minute films are adverst on television. I saw a great one once when a dog climbed out of a guys mouth - it was banned a week later - to advertise breath freshening mouth wash. It is a bit to ad...

Thank you HetHFilms. I am lucky we came up here at the time we did. Yes, we have a ready made film crew, and an acting school near by if we need actors. We learn about script writing and story boards this coming week, should be good.

I wouldn't. I didn't like the Blair Witch - one of the few that didn't. My script is getting there. But it will take some hours to type it up and do a rough read through for minor corrections. Tuesday is still very much a possibility.

'An Introduction to Short Film Making'

I moved up to the Orkney around 2 months ago. Mainly because life is cheap and more relaxed. But, also to help my writing. Orkney has a lot of beautiful scenery and old World War 2 buildings that are empty and on farmers’ land. Most of it is free to visit. Recently I saw a course in the paper...

If I were doing it, then I would look to the more at hand home weapons that we may have around the house, for example: Knives, forks (the large ones you use to steady the turkey at Christmas), Replica swords, nail gun - with compressor (you could only fire it so many times before having to allow the...

He must be rubbish at computer games if he is still playing Sonic. I completed that years ago. Not only that, but the Mega Drive has been out dated for quite a number of years too - He has not been out of bed for a long time!!! :D

Did you like the end of the 'Dawn of the Dead' remake I3lade203? That was not security camera, it was camcorder. But I thought it was very effective when it would flash on and off at the main moments until at the end it fuzzes then dies.

Hi people, my first post on this site. Theshapecool I agree with I3lade203 that you should put these spine tingling horror movies of yours somewhere for download, or for postal. I would love to see some fan creations, and when I finally get that damned internet working at home I will download some o...
