Rhys, I happen to notice that none of your vids have a storyline whatsoever. You are only able to create short scenes, not even a movie at all. Its because i put ALOT of thought into what I'm going to make a story about. I don't just pretend to be darth vader and go light-saber someone. ALL of my v...

Couldn't you just use a watering can just above and in front of the camera for the effect/ Would that work? Do you even pretend to have a brain anymore, lol! Zac has a good idea. The CC effect in after effects would be better then keying in rain. Just try and shoot it for real! If you cant, just do...

not just a little bit cliche rhys? Killers would do that any chance they get so they can make sure they don't survive). If you ever hear about any stabbings they are normally about 10-100 stab wounds. Killers are f*** up, they aren't just going to fire a single round and get over it. The anger that...

I was talking about the first one you big tools. It does nothing but show a title. You are trying to promote you work as a cinematographer, so why don't you put that into the video itself?
Kene555, wtf? Wouldn't it be you that would want the crappy light saber effects and general lack of imagination?

RE: Another Slightly Controversial Discussion.
Cinematographers ARE under-rated. At the end of some movies i say 'If only they had some better angles' and normally 'if only they had some better cuts'. Editors and Cinematographers should work together to create a happy little place i like to call 'heaven'.

To be really honest... its boring. An audience isn't going to cream over fades in a completely unsaturated title. It looks professional, but it looks lame.

Killer should have squeezed the single round off, the victim holds his neck as blood spurts, he falls to the ground, the killer walks over to the body as blood continues to spurt slower and slower. His shirt is covered in blood. You see the killer look down at the body. Blood is all over the victim....

Here i am! The second song was terrible. The amount of blood was perfect, but he sat there for ages like a tool. The acting wasn't great but the killer wasn't too bad. The muzzle flashes were too thick rimmed. He should die almost instantly, or after like 2 seconds, no longer! You got a little carri...

RE: Muzzle Flash & Day for Night Test
The second one isn't as bad as the first, but the acting was bad and the flash was choppy. You can see the edges on the flash. You also bring your hand up rather then just snapping it. The sounds not too bad, but its too loud.

RE: Videos Taken Off Youtube?
Thats sucks.
I agree, i mean, its fake blood, and its clearly labeled that. The biggest thing they should have done is made it 18+. Someone probably reported the clip.

Yeah, it wasn't something i was thing about doing forever, it was something i done straight away... like most of my movies. I didn't live up to my full potential, but who does? I thought it was funny as hell too. I think i might be f*** in the head too.... alot.... The blood was action essentials st...

I don't think the movie should be a comedy, because comedy is done way too freelance and hard to write. We should just do what everyone would normally do, the point of the movie to see who pulls the script off the best. Everyone is always doing action, but lets make it so there can't be anymore then...

This turned out when i was bored.
I was bored.... i made a movie, just like normal. I'm not saying that i was bored just so that you can say it sucks, but because i was actually bored. I have actual things in mind, but I'm still working on them. I actually talk in this movie (which is why i posted it in the acting section). I have a...

RE: Boredom + Home Alone = This
The tension was pretty good. The gunshot sound wasn't great and your acting was kinda half-assed as well. You could have some closer angles, and less jerkiness in your body.

The contra-zoom was cool, but maybe a little slow. The 3d animation was cool. The bullet through the newspaper was alright, but it would be fantastic if there was smoke seeping out of the holes and better sound effects. The rest was kinda boring, your action scenes aren't great either, they were slo...
