There used to be an entire television series about it - Early Edition it was called. A guy got a newspaper from the following day/week/month telling of some grizzly crime, and he would prevent it. Believe me, it's a fairly old idea, nothing really original. You just gotta do something different with...

Good, but I'm sorry it rips off Desperado way too much. It made a lot more sense in that movie - guitar case, El Mariachi. Golf bag, El Geezer? You need something more original for the name. Because, y'know Desperado was shot and took place in Mexico. You're movie takes place in London, practically ...

The helicopter crash sequence in Black Hawk Down. The best CG effects you will ever see in a movie. Yes, that helicopter was CG. The insertion sequence was pretty intense too.

Or you could just stick the camera right in front of the sniper scope. Easy, simple, and works.

Maybe they're not into it because you're being bitchy and bossy. Just tell em' "Hey, I don't really mean to be like that, but could you please try a little bit? It's been a bit hard lately and I've just been a little stressed." Somethin like that'll probably get them to try harder.

No, it really did take several weeks to create those brownout effects. It's covered in one of the sections of the two and a half hour long behind the scenes feature on the Special Edition DVD. Along with all of the seperate elements they covered in the crashing of the blackhawk - first they built a ...

Alright, best of wishes for your endeavor. Just don't say I didn't warn you... If you need any help, head on down to the special effects section. Most of the people here know what they're doing (even though most of them including me only know mindless gun action), plus a few people here know their w...

I tell this to everybody: You are not Superman. Black Hawk Down is a completely different story; apples and oranges man. They had a four man team of experts proficient at this stuff (not to mention programs that they created) testing out different composites and crashing different model Blackhawks; ...

Nobody ever said you couldn't do it or that you suck. I just want to know how you're going to pull off a Zelda movie without special effects. Because, well, let's be realistic. A Zelda movie with a budget of less than a hundred dollars is going to look a little rediculous.

Um yeah, seeing as how people come up with their own subjects for adaptations  . Besides, how could you pull off something like Zelda without it looking like cr**? Unless you have a few million dollars lying around for the required CG effects...

Airsoft guns are worth it. Realistic props with fun shooting each other in between filming. Two Uzis, a Remington sawed off shotgun, a desert eagle, two AK47s and an M16A2 is our current arsenal. All of them will be making an appearance in our next movie. Guns = fun. Well, as long as you're being sa...

I think there's a filter or a process you can use in Adobe Premiere to achieve that effect. Anyway, it's something in the way that they develop the film that gives movies the 'film look'. As far as I know the effect would only show up on a TV, but not on a computer.

i thought it was ok, if not a little unoriginal, what you should do is make it your own, by using your own character names, situations etc. terrorists in a bank demanding the release of a prisoner, its been done
Um yeah, Rainbow Six did it before. Look at the title.[/quote]

Let me explain something to you guys. When we were filming one of our first scenes, we put all of our stuff (including fake airsoft guns) into the trunk of our car. Um, that's not the way it happens in America. Cops know that their lives are on the line everytime they put on the uniform, so they open fire on people who are just reaching for their wallets. Sadly it happens all the time. And believe me, they're more likely to shoot you when you have a replica rif...

I forget the name of the director, but he usually uses big crane setups or CGs the scene so the camera will move around the way he wants it to. He did Fight Club as well. So, if you're into spending countless hours staring at a computer screen modelling and rendering, by all means be my guest.

No, that's not what I'm saying. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THE CAMERA MAN IS VISIBLE, the realistic looking BB guns that you will be using CAN GET YOU KILLED. I CANNOT stress this enough. DO NOT film this kind of a scene in ANY SORT OF PUBLIC PLACE AT f*** ALL. Do you realize how many people have been sh...
