yeah but after effects is way more expensive, yeah it'd do a better job so get that if its not too much....

If your using grey, u dont want the backround to be black or white..... so i would recommend either a green or even a red screen. And for software, u could just get adobe premiere or even adobe premiere elements. You can key out certain colors, add mattes and all sorts of stuff and it does the whole...

no, i mean the way you always do it, so its just a long arch of blood just like a hose, i like outcastjob's idea of stuffing some toilet paper in the end though. i dont want it to be a perfect arch like a hose. i want it to be a spray.

How do you whip someone?
I need to do this school project about the torchers in Uzbeckistan. i want to hae aseen where a guy gets whipped to death.... and i sortof want it like the seen in The Passion Of The Christ. i know how they do some of it but not all of it. How could u make a realistic looking explosion without using stock footage? Ive tried the stomping on the piece of wood techniqe but that doesnt look the most real. I think im going to try the way they did it in BOB. we'll see how that works out.....[/u]

yeah ive tried that plenty of times with u and it doesnt look real, but i think i found another way with an air compressor and this little attachment. and ive also tried adding on on the computer that looked ok too i guess.

I need to have this seen in my WW2 movie where a guy gets shot in the face. Does anyone know how to make it look real? should i even use blood or should i have it be something else?

if u already have photoshop just get adobe premiere elements(its only like $70) you can do a ton of stuff with just those two if u look around a little bit.

If you have adobe premiere all that u have to do is film urself against any one-color backround. then once u have that in a spare video track you drag down one of the color- switcher fx and change the color to blue or green(it should already be on the right one.) Then u drag one of the blue or green...
