Premiere does to blue and green screens and after effects does them to (better actually) Premiere is excellent for the editing and if you want to add "Good" effects they should really be done in after effects. I beleive you can get the Premiere 7 demo here http://www.adobe.com/products/try...

You can do great things with Adobe products, like premiere and after effects. Are you looking into 3D modeling effects, cause for that you would need something a little more complicated like 3D studio max or Maya, It just really depends on what special effects youre talking about.

try www.findsounds.com its pretty big and i've used it many times, not sure if it has librarian stamps, but you could look around and find some.. if not just try making it yourself.

I prefer 16:9, you can acheive much more proffesionalty and cinematography, along with better looking angles and all around final films

I recently tested a car blowing up by just adding in some shots of a explosion from detonation films.com and just added it in with blue screen. Looks descent but im not sure what youre trying to do with movement and such. what i've said is hard to do for moving cars, but you could give it a try.
