Ok, so here is my two cents. * First: I didn't think the opening was that bad, impossible to hear most of it, but not that bad. * Second: The guy beating up the other guy, that seemed pretty good to me, looked decent anyway. Could have been filmed better, little more light and angles but overall not...

No No No, you dont run people over with cars or have them jump on the hood. Its actually a very simple effect but one that requires a stationary camera shot (ie..a tripod) and not moving the camera between shots. Anyway I tore the video apart, I believe the last frame right before he was "hit&q...

Nothing but props and respect for the time, effort, and pain that goes into making such a movie.

Much respect, and thanks for the docs, media and the behind the scenes look at things.

Its for an upcoming I Told You So episode so I don't want to give it away yet, but I will after the short is out.

The shot in the short (ehh??..what) will be wider, that was just a test shot and done really quick.

Zomada: Everybody starts somewhere, but you have to have realistic on your first projects. A WWII movie as a first project I think is a little to big for a starter project. A personal experience, I started off with a great idea called City Ransom, hey its only 32 pages of dialog and only a few locat...

Burning Hand Test

Here is a little test, added the little electric shock thing, but overall I think the effect looks good. Tell me what you think.

For what it was, it was actually kind of funny. I had fun watching it, music I think is what kept it going, and just the dumb dumb characters.

The only thing that did need a little help was the audio of the actors in certain spots...but then...eh....does it really matter, probably not. LOL.

I did a little more digging on that microphone, I guess it takes the K6 piece to power it...boooo....which is this piece. http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/productdetail.asp?transid=003861 So if you are buying the m67 or m66 you need this piece I guess with it, so that adds at least another $300....

I totally agree, with the above. You will waste so much time correcting crappy audio after the fact, when $100 more would have solved it. Now if you aren't picky no biggy, I am anal retentive, so its a big deal to me. The mic we used did a good job but I want more from it now. The one we have been u...

So basically below 16 ms I will be ok with NTSC video editing. I understand they have an issue with color. Oh and I found out the technical reason behind the color problem. So for those of you that don't know here it is. The reason you have a color level issues on LCD vs CRT is that LCD can't do pur...
