Well, I hardly ever use After effects, so I'm not very familiar with it yet. I've been extremely busy. With the back plate, you'd only use the part where the rope is right?

I can not figure out for anything how you would digitally take out te cables/ropes that would hold someone up on a harness. Such as in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Some help here would be much appreciated.

But what about the little bit of lightning or squiggly light lines inside of it?

The "blue shader," what program is that on? I tried the bumpy bumpmat. It looks okay, but I did it in like five minutes so it's not the greatest, I'm going to re-do it when I get the time. Busy working on a commercial right now though. It's taken around 20 hours though, so I'm really busy.

Just matte it in in Adobe Premiere, in a separate video track. You don't need After Effects or anything.

I still think it looks fake, whenever you do something digitally, u run the risk of it looking fake, and this looks fake!

Can anyone tell me how to make air ripples kind of like or exactly like the matrix bullet streaks, the little blue ball Yoda holds when he catches the lightning, and the ligntning itself? I have premiere, after effects, and 3D studio max.

It shouldn't squirt out!
