RE: The Gardener intro
for the titles, rhys, I'll see what I can do, I think I'm going to completely incorporate them over the camera-going-through plants part, when I'll figure out how vegas works, so I can go without movie maker's titles. for the length of it, however, it's necessary; I calculated my stuff and I need at...

hehehe... it's a little off topic, but here's something great about the mac-pc war made in beautiful quebec; canada. http://www.phylacterecola.com/flash/galerie/sample/sketchs/pages/v002.htm this short film is one of the hundreds of shorts made by Phylactere Cola, who are, in my opinion, some of the...

The Gardener intro
Hello! heres the introduction of a short film Im making that will be slightly burton inspired (in the story, that is). I’m making this movie to test a filming technique that I learned not long ago that gives a surreal « espressionist » feeling to the video. There will be no dialog, only...

yeah, corn syrup has a tendency to englobe the coloring particles, I don't know exactly why that is, but it screens it and only the syrup touches things apparently(but I don't really know what's going on with that substance) but when you dilute it, it loses this screening ability; so keep it thick i...

well, personnally, I don't think it's that bad... but when blood is spread thinly, you shouldn't use the corn syrup recipe; it has a tendency to bead up and look like strawberry jam, not really realistic if you ask me. for thin coverage, like the blood on your cheek, if you can find some, substitute...

yeah, if you looked around, you'd see plenty of alternatives. next time, search the forum before posting! I really doubt anyone here uses real squibs. so to go back to your question: you'll find everything you want and more here: http://exposure.co.uk/eejit/index.html

when you modifiy your avatar, you can click on "select avatar from gallery", and in the gallery there is the avatar of matt and pictures of his movies. that's probably where he took his "matt-like" avatar.

RE: Just fooling around with blender...
mick-> yes, I would only have to change the background for something that isn't the same color as the robot, and render it again. Metronome-> thanks, and the lack of shadow is because of the reflectivity of the floor; even though it doesn't look like that, it has a high specularity which washes out ...

Just fooling around with blender...
Hi there, here's a small animation I made in blender not so long ago. the character is animated using a primitive armature, and the whole thing took about 12 hours to render; mostly because of the reflectivity of the character. I did this just for fun, and it's my second animation using an humanoid ...

so, here's my problem. at the end of the movie i'm going to start shooting soon, A character(a demon) needs to be shot in the head using a 12 gauge shotgun, so his head gets litteraly destroyed. he gets buried & all & all, and at the very end, he gets out of his grave and flies away(he's a d...
