no its not the effect where someone is standing still and everyone is rushing by around him, to show that he feels alone, its a very subtle effect where imagine a person walking down a sidewalk and all other people around the main character seem to be zooming by but they are walking at normal speed,...

i rather liked what you did with the images, but uh at times it was rather blurred and very faded

ya what me and a friend did but it only shot like 2 meters, is we put gasoline in a windex bottle and used a BBQ lighter to light it, but if you have somethign that can build up more pressure than use that, as for fuel gasoline is the BEST

i meant your own little recipes that everyone has discovered. One thing i have found that is really cool is when you are filming a night scene and your character is well lit, and the background is quite dark compared to him or at least darker than all of him/her, duplicate the layer and invert color...

I decided to create this to topic to discuss various possible effects you can add to a movie to achieve different looks, such as cut out for a cartoony effect, or desaturation, etyc. or any possible combinations of effects and colour correction to achieve various looks and feel for your film

well i never thought of that way, but using powerpoint means choregraphing and it might not be perfectly in line with the actor, you need something that your actor interacts with in real time

uh its programming but i could do it for you i just need the exact specifications and ill program it, PM me with the specifications

you could program an applet in java and actually have the stuff interact with the actor in real time

i really do liek the first idea, i think it has gargantuan amounts of potential, the second one is also very different and original but a bit stranger, good ideas

it would, wouldnt it, that way you also may find out that something you may have overlooked when you last made a movie is a lot more important that you might have figured

Im not sure that theres ONE film look, as long as it looks like it wasnt shot on a DV cam then it has a film look, some of the stuff here is just a different look, that does though make it look a lot better, and mroe professional but im not quite sure theyre films looks specifically.

I ahevtn the faintest what the second one is about but the first oen sounds very good, and if it could be both written and produced properly then i believe that it has lots of potential

You know what we should try, all get the same script and make it differently and in each instance change only 1 thing, (eg. actors, color correction, sound, etc.) i am quite intrigued as to whi ch would make the movie better.
