Pete1234... I've used both and can say they are both great. If you say Premiere is a 'carbon copy' of Final Cut, then would Final Cut be a 'carbon copy' of Premiere Pro? If A=B, then B=A. Anyways... It's not what editor you use, it's how you use it. I bet someone could make a better movie in Windows...

I've also added a few newer ones also, if you guys want to check them out. For instance, there is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZZyHY_kofw Which is mainly a special effects project for school. (By the way, that weird crackling noise that you hear in this movie every once in a while is fr...

Fake Shoe Commercial
Hey. I was trying to get a shallow depth of field look in this commercial. I was also testing out a new way of using a homemade steadicam. http://...

I have been studying cinematography for a few years and my favorite books are as follows: (If you are interested in cinematography, these are a MUST. DON'T go without them) 1. Cinematography (Third Edition) by Kris Malkiewicz ... ( I just read this, and it is amazing for FILM work (ie, 16mm and 35mm...

RE: Color Correction Tests
It's not just more yellow. The saturation and contrast were adjusted, then the hue was adjusted (to make it yellowish) and finally the curves to crush the blacks. This was just a yellow-biased test... Every film tends to have a color bias to it (ie, The Matrix = green/blue, etcetera) so I went for a...

Color Correction Tests
Hey guys. Here are some simple color correction tests that I did inside of Premiere Pro.
Of course the compression is all messed up from YouTube but it's still bearable.
Enjoy!

Hey guys, I made a really simple, yet clean logo for myself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CYl-qpzwqw If you look closely, you'll see a little squiggly line in the background.. (just making sure you don't miss it :) ) You guys have any suggestions on how to make it more visually appealing? Thanks,...
