RE: Kentertainmen on the Web

I have 2 link spots open to anyone. Just go here and read up on the part that says "Linking" and I can link your website to mine. Also, I'm open to any suggestions on how to improve my site.

RE: Filming a person getting hit by car/bus

I just did this about a month ago... http://www.matthawkins.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10591 The only thing I can really tell you is what we did and that was...we had a person who had trained skills with this kind of work, stunt padding, precautions. The video you posted kind of looked like compute...

I am in agreeance with kene...it does draw you in and that is what makes it a good teaser, great job. I think tecmeister was just amused with the graffitti weiener in the background. I do like the birds off camera...it just makes it seem so happy at the end after all the pandemonium ensues.

I remembered before having the main character's inner thoughts before getting the burrito: I thought this needed it. Without it it seemed like he just lies to the group. I know before the muzzles flashes looked like cr**, but the lack of them makes it look just as bad. Yeah, he questions if one bur...

RE: Waiting...

Yeah, I held a production meeting the day before we went out and shot and I stressed on this subject quite a bit. It actually helped a little bit with the film we are working on but I also think the equipment we are using has done some of the job as well. When you're using a DVX100B with and Arri Li...

El Burrito de la Muerte - re-cut version

To you newer members I created this film El Burrito de la Muerte last year around April and had it online for quite a while so here it is to you guys. Let me know what you think... A while ago some Comcast type television show in San Fransisco contacted me when they saw this film on Google Video. Th...

Waiting...

I seem to have this problem quite often and that is, when I am directing I tend to get more upset on not how things are running, but on how people are acting (off screen). Actors and crewman will go off on their own little conversations when we are ready to roll, I begin to yell (attention yell...no...

We did this once in on of Gyro's films. We used a normal fog machine, sprayed it out for a moment and then just spread it out by fanning it.

I have made an attempt or two but or normally erupts into every hating me because it is their fault they can't get their lines down. Although the longest they ever go is like a minute or two. We did one in Five Cents that took us like 25 takes and then we attempted to do one in the film I am current...

RE: Kentertainmen on the Web

I just designed the whole thing with HTML and CSS in freewebs with a free account and then I registered a domain with freewebs for a year. It was $40 to host it but when you register a domain all of your personal info is put somewhere for people to see, it's something about contacting the designer i...

RE: First Post on Should A Director do his Own Cinematograph

I disagree, Steven Soderbergh did all of his cinematography in Ocean's 11, 12, & 13 and I think it's pretty dandy. Cinematographers have camera operators, assistant camera operators, and a gaffer who do all the setting up. Mainly cinematographers will set up on smaller budget films but on the bi...

RE: Re: RE: Vegas 6.0 NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's likely you're trying to import an .mp4 onto the timeline, which oddly Vegas doesn't support. The easiest thing to do is burn the music you want onto a CD and then bring the CD into iTunes and copy the music from the disk as another format such as an .mp3.

If you make an agreement with the owners then you should be good to film there. Although, if they agree to let you film there I would suggest giving them a full detailed description of what you would be doing and then lay down some terms for them and then have them lay down terms for you. I would th...

I think the visuals in this look great. The stills you provided were to me a little testy in looks but I suppose I just needed to see the motion to them cause the actual film looks great. The acting seemed a little bland though, as if there wasn't much emotion given off to fit such tragic war-torn t...

Well, you 2nd trailer must have worked because I'm watching "The Vault" right now. The 1st trailer just made me wanna go to the bathroom and the noise his gut makes made me thirsty.

I liked your second trailer the most, it was cut well and had great intensity.
