RE: Hollow Point DVD avaliable

The real DVD cover is correct but the graphic on the website isn't correct its just a link to the Hollow Point page. We must have been in one of our over confident moods about finishing.

Re: RE: What is a stock footage??

Stock footage is basically, all the footage you have shot, in uncut form. Easy. Having said that, I could be wrong. But I'm pretty sure that is what it is. No, sorry raptor has this one correct. The exposions in Hollow Point were made using stock footage. But don't use as just as a get out. If you ...

See the movie ended, and i was expspecting an explosion.....well anyway very nice matt. There is a version with an explosion but it was cgi and even we could see that it wasn't going to look relastic especially as the final shot of the film. The explosion version as well as lots of other things are...

Very nice Matt, I was lost at first like the rest when the movie rewound itself, but then the whole first part made sense. Nice little twist in things. I am more forgiving on sound problems as there were a few with wind, lord knows we have all had that problem. But the one thing I couldnt over look...

The spec sheet I found said the frequency range is only 100-16k Hz which is a bit limited. you should aim for something more like 50Hz to 22kHz covering more of the audible spectrum. Saying that the mic wont just stop working at the lower frequencies it will just be less sensative.

RE: Need some help here comrades..

Set up the shot with the camera on a tripod and then lock down everything so it won't move. Get the actors in shot and make sure the lighting is correct. Film some footage of the scene with just the background items. This will be used later for difference keying. Film your scene normally with the ac...

RE: Need some help here comrades..

Yes the red dot is just something for the tracker, or manual tracker, to use a reference point and would get replaced. If the screen doesn't work then this all gets alot more complicated. Do you want people walking infront of the screen during the shot ? Does the camera definately have to move durin...

RE: Need some help here comrades..

If you are going to use tracking see if you can display something distinct, like a red dot on black screen. The tracking will work better that way. You could display what you want to film whilst you are shotting :- Set the screen refresh rate, of the monitor in the shot, to 100Hz for pal (4 * 25Hz) ...

The advantage with a PC is there are many more manufacturers producing PC components and software so there is allways other options if something goes wrong.

RE: Sticky buns trailer

Looks good, I like some of the close up work. it does seem to end suddenly with the music still playing. But as you said you are going to change that possibly. The only other thing is the title graphic i.e. 'Sticky Buns' doesn't seem to fit right with the mood of the rest of the shots. Then again ne...
