Oh what a good idea! Thanks man, it might be kinda hard to find businesses willing to pay the price of the rental camera, but I'm sure there are a few I could do. Thanks again, I owe you one.

Cheers,

Thanks for the information... Since I probably won't be able to do this, do you have any ideas on what I can do to earn money? (preferably something related to filmmaking, since yardwork and od-jobs are getting tiresome)...

Thanks,

Editing Services to Make Money??

Hey, I have been trying to come up with solutions to earn more and more money, and I've been doing many hours of yardwork (blahfggh!) I've been thinking, and decided to edit local companies in my area's video (edit their commercials, etc.) It wouldn't be hard because I have Photoshop, Premiere Pro, ...

Uhmm... try filling a condom (or small plastic bag, or finger of a latex glove) with fake blood, and have some way of popping it under the guy's shirt... lol... i dont really have any ideas.

The DVC30 allows more control over the GL2, both have good quality, but not nearly as good as the DVX100, 100a, or the 100b. The DVC30 is still an awesome camera, I would look into it more though, checking out video samples of both the GL2 and the DVC30... Have fun with your new camera, Cheers, SE7

Viewers Choice Award for film contest...

Hey guys... remember when I was asking for tips on entering a film for my high school film contest? Well, I entered the film into the contest and there was a technical error with the DVD, so unfortunately the judges couldn't judge the film, and it made it uneligable for the grand prize... :( But tha...

RE: Parachute?

Okay... what I did for a world war II film, was take a huge tarp (mine was blue because the film was in B&W) and tie a bunch of rope to the tarp, then tie the rope around the guy. You might want to make a fake harness if your doing close-ups. Then film and have your guy jump as high as possible....

Thanks F.F.F. - I appreciate your comment. The car I was in, a tiny Toyota Corolla, was way too small to get any other shots really, and I dont have a wide angle lens... so this was the best I could do... DEDFX- I was just messin around... I know, the ending probably could have been a little bit mor...

Oh, by the way, I completed everything from planning to uploading on to youtube in a little under 2 hours... Thanks for your constructive criticis...

Thanks for the comments guys... -Theshapecool- What in particular did you find boring about it? It was a drama, and I needed to show the emotions. If I cut it down any shorter, I don't think the story would've worked as well... Did you understand the meaning of the story? -Magic-Man- Thanks alot.. T...

RE: New Short Film - "Sanctuary"

Thanks man.. I really worked hard on this film, and wanted to make it as good as I could. Thanks for the comment on the cinematography, I wanted to put a lot of work into that. Yeah, some of those shots were really shaky, but it wasn't really a race against daylight, but I couldn't get some of those...

Hey all the people that thinks mac suck, go eat yourself.... In my film class, we use Mac Pros with Dual 3.0 GHz processor (6 GHz total) and 4 GB RAM, so don't give me any of that cr** about how it's low end. Sure its more expensive, but its a hell of a lot better than crappy PCs. http://www.apple.c...

RE: New skit/test MATRIX, BULLET TIME, SPR, BOB VIDEO INSID

Good job... I really liked it! I liked the camera angles, especially the Dutch angles. I also liked the feel of the movie, and thought the B&W added alot. Yeah, wasn't really a matrix type movie, but I thought it was great!! The only thing I would work on is the blood... looked a little fake whe...
