RE: Problem with Adobe Premiere
It sounds like you have everything in different folders, since you are using an external drive. Perhaps Premiere is simply missing those files when it cannot find the directory they are in. Check to see if it renders alright. If it does not, that is where your problem might lay. If it renders okay, ...

I use 3d Studio Max. Comparitively, they are identical programs with different layouts. 3ds Max is more 3rd party plug-in based, but it's used extensively within the gaming community. Maya is often chosen as a standard for many film companies, but so is 3dsMax, Lightwave, Alias, Cinema4D, etc... it ...

RE: Distribution question
Unless you know the manager(s) or owners of the theater, it is usually quite expensive. They figure (even if they don't expect any customers) that the rental of a theater for a couple hours is worth what they would charge for a number of people for a given movie. Plus, you will have to use their dig...

Why, do you like looking at fat, naked men?
My suggestion is to avoid power lines.

In the world of amateur filmmaking, just find friends that share your passion for movie-making and ask them nicely.

Only if you destination allows Airsoft guns. I can't think of a place that doesn't, though.

RE: GP2X help
Yes. Typically, you have a cable that has a normal UBS connector on one side, and the mini on the other side. If you only have a standard cable, you can look into buying a simple adaptor.

Even if you have a lower end camcorder, you can still manually set the exposure. If it's set low enough, you won't tap into unnecessarily raising the Gain, and therefore making it grainy. However, it will require some extra lighting. Cheap industrial work lamps are great for that purpose, but you ca...

I've had problems on both Mac and Linux before, so Windows isn't unique in that fashion... If you reinstall Windows without erasing the entire hard drive, much (if not all) of your saved work should be mostly untouched. We've done it before. However, if this is the work of a virus, consider everythi...

Dispite what your eye may actually pick up in darkness, in real life... ask yourself what is more desirable as a viewer? There is far more than simply making an image dark and tinted... For example, look at this scenes and ask yourself how they might have been done: http://images.allmoviephoto.com/2...

RE: How to start your own Video Production Company -
A good videographer can live off of filming weddings. You don't necessarily have to be good at the actual filming, but knowing what to film and how to edit is your selling point. I know a couple people that do this several times a weekend. You should have at least 2 cameras/crew to effectively caput...

RE: What should I get?
I manually set the Focus, Iris, Shutter speed, and Gain on my camera every single shot. I wouldn't exactly say those are gimmicks just for show.
