RE: Making a Movie with 1 Camera: Is it possible?
Alright, I'm going to be honest with you. I read the thread title, then the first post, and nearly died laughing. Set up one shot. Press record. When finished, press the record button again. Keep your dead actor from moving. Set up another shot. Press record. Repeat. I've been doing this for almost ...

RE: Re: RE: McDonalds
I had to plunge a homeless man's p*** underwear out of a toilet. Twice. Nobody orders real sandwiches anymore. They just walk in and act like we're at the f*** Olive Garden, big fatass rednecks with tophats and monacles saying, "I'll be ordering off the menu this evening." They then procee...

Epsilon, you've been very much misinformed. The cartridges are 3-4 dollars each. You load the charge (cap) into the cartridge, fire, and reuse the cartridge as many times as you'd like (provided you clean it after every use, and thoroughly scrub it ever 4-5 uses) The guns are also reliable, provided...

Reasoning with you seems to be pointless, so I won't bother.

RE: Out crazy-ing Ornsack!
Heh, we won't going for an edgy movie. We weren't even making it for the scrutiny of others. Like I said before, we just wanted to do something that was fun and relaxing, which was exactly what it was. Just figured a few people on here might get a kick out of it. As for the music being annoying, tha...

Out crazy-ing Ornsack!
Well, we didn't consciously try to out crazy Ornsack, but we might have done it sub-consciously. Basically we just wanted to relax and make a fun little movie where we didn't have to worry about props, location, or great cinematography. So we made a movie about a couple of friends who can't seem to ...

Trailers/download for my first machinima: Zompocalypse Now
So I've delved into the world of machinima. It's great cause you can make the movies you want without spending any money :) This is a Half Life 2 movie I made, about the Combine-controlled world coming under attack from a particularly nasty zombie outbreak. Feedback and comments are appreciated, and...

RE: "Vietcong" new film for Escape films
Few degrees of seperation: two years ago we made a Vietnam film entitled Vietcong for a history class. Using this exact music. I would sue you for copyright enfringement... but, y'know... we enfringed copyrights too :P Movie was okay. Little hard to follow, camerawork needs improvement, stuff like t...

Overall, I thought it was excellent. It was well shot, and for the most part the music was chosen well, and the editing was nice and tight. The problem I have is what Lawrie said - it's too reminiscent of Ridley Scott and other similar war flicks. I think this film would have greatly benefited from ...

You do realize that 25, in the military, is considered old? Most soldiers serving in Iraq are between 18 and 21, so high schoolers portraying Marines isn't that far off the mark. Some pictures for you. http://www.gdc4s.com/images/markets_army-picture_only.jpg Don't look that old, now do they? Iraqi ...

Also, don't mean to be nitpicky, but the costumes look dated - I know you didn't have the cash to buy everyone camo and LBVs, but here's a few photos as an example of what I'm talking about.
