Haha! I really liked the first trailer a lot, at the end I had a pretty big grin on my face.

I really never had interest in checking this out because I really am not much of a zombie film (Shaun of the Dead was fantastic though) fan but I finally got around to just checking it out. Firstly, I must say, your production value has shot up immensely but don't let that get to you, if this story ...

Disregard this post. I accidentally hit submit twice and I got two of the same posts. I could only delete one and that would have been the one that says I posted on the front page. It wouldn't let me delete this one so in it's place I edited it down to this which has now wasted about 15 seconds of y...

Hey all, here is the trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXw9X-C3eMA I don't know how many of you will find interest in this on account of it being a dark comedy/character drama that lacks guns, explosions, and guts. Anywho, tell me what you think...and for future reference, the visuals in this ...

If they are animated .GIF's then they probably aren't all that great. Just saying.

My only suggestion would be to have a still framed shot (not still as in a photo) and on the left of frame (or vise versa) have a person standing and then jumping backwards as if he has just been hit. Then I'd film it again but this time just a car going across the frame. Overlay the frames and cut ...

RE: Grindhouse look
Well considering they actually shot it on film and then took the film and actually scratched it I don't think you're going to get that exact vintage look. It looks as if they sort of desaturated it a very small bit and increased the warmer colors. You might want to put a little film grain with some ...

I want to know. Shush Don't tell. Kentertainement comes out of the closet, calmly and subtly, until a comment like this is said and he takes it all back, or blames it on something else. I came out of the closet of actually making films that don't involve a person engaging in a fight or shooting the...

If i do a corporate video the folks are on time - don't complain - work hard etc - then i make a creative film with volanteers and it's like complete chaos! The people who work with me on every film and love to make films with me are always late to set (I just send out call sheets via e-mail and gi...

Haha! This reminded me of Waynes World or Austin Powers... FILLMORE Yes...I mean-no! As for the actual script, it seemed to me like a dumb blond type of joke you'd tell but you should still make it if that's what you want to do. I'm sure you could get a few laughs out of it. we don't want to know wh...

I'm not angry, I'm frustrated, and don't tell me you've never been frustrated when trying to make a film. It's really stressful when you spend all this time planning on making a film and then all of the sudden you can't rent out equipment for two months and when you finally can your actors become si...

Ah I see...the only reason we have a script supervisor is because he helped me write the script so he knows it pretty well. I am in an filmmaking apprenticeship program so I know quite a few people with deep interest in filmmaking who are always willing to help out in any way and that is why we have...

You guys are too professional for me. :P Yes, it is good to have the amount of equipment we have but in the end, it doesn't matter how well production value is...just as long as the story is good and delivered well. what are you using for a mic? It's a definite made-for-film boom mic, I'm not sure ...

Go here: http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/index.php and make an account for free and then go to search and type in Heart Beat or Clock...I found a couple, you just got to listen to them to find which you like best and then you simply download them.
The Freesound Project has saved me quite a few times.

You could also buy an external hard-drive, they are getting really cheaper now. I bought an 80gb hard-drive for $80 a while ago, now you can get a 200gb hard-drive for that same price. If you do go with the external hard-drive option, make sure you get one that connects to your computer via firewire...
