Looking good! Did you change around the first part of the script, or will the actors be talking in poetic language?

A vicious cycle it is...I remember when I started out here, my stuff got chewed out pretty badly. I'm happy to say that it isn't the case so much anymore. :)

Yep, use what works for you. If you are OK with what Pinnacle can do, and can accept its quirks (all editing programs have their own!), then stick with it. We each have our favorites, and we're biased, so go with what you like, not what we like. If you are unsatisfied with your program, check out an...

Haha! You'll get no such fight from me - I've never used Linux.

Not shabby! Out of the 3 weeks, was 2 of that for rendering? I hate the long waits - just had one of the iMacs at school working on a 10 second scene for a day and a half.

Nice CG.

Some stuff here. I don't know if you have to pay for it, but there's some that work with CS3 and Elements.

I've not done so...

My first---the MH AK47, built from scratch! Then a few nice pistols from the local Dick's Sporting Goods - those great metal magazines really add realistic weight to the gun.

I have used it, and am familiar with it. My problem is that it is rather unstable, and slow - a big NONO for us filmmies (did I just make a new slang term for us). Other programs that we use are more expensive, but can do a lot more with much more stability. Not to forget Movie Maker - it's great too.

Agreed. Just shy of 60 seconds on my DSL. Although the wait is long, it's nice how there's no waiting afterwards when going through pages - it's all loaded at the beginning. :)

Yeah, I went for the washed out look in post. The original footage is all pretty and vivid color...

I love the XL2. Incredible picture and clarity. :)
