RE: help with a gun fight.
Take a look at this (from about the five minute mark). All this is going to be is fire back, move to cover. Best way to make it interesting: lots of bullet hits: things that look cool, lot of eye candy.

RE: help with a gun fight.
Sounds like it'd be kinda boring with just the three shooting at each other, especially if it's going to be drawn out over the length of a neighborhood. When I first saw the drive by, all I could think of is Smokin' Aces with the Tremors blowing away the bail bondsmen. What does the neighborhood loo...

If you want to make sure, just run it through Windows Movie Maker as an AVI NTSC or PAL what have you.

Writing 3-D Characters
No I don't mean 3D graphics or anything. A three dimensional character in a story. I've been really just writing alot of scripts and short stories lately. Anyways, I was reading the script for Smokin' Aces, and I remember seeing the comment from someone saying that the characters were all two dimens...

Oh my God that was awsome! It looked fake, but damn it still looked good. Just minus the flash. I love watching impact with that massive hulk of smoke. So amazing!

RE: Re: RE: Time is Luck Teaser Trailer
Thanks for the comments, shot on a cheap Canon Optura 50, no lenses. The initial idea was a short story I did back in 10th grade, then I just pulled it into a smaller scale about a week in advance. We never saw/filmed the house actually demolished, it was just half gone on the last day of filming, b...

Time is Luck Teaser Trailer
Newest movie s***. DOT was about to knock down a fully funished house somewhere beyond my backyard, so I wrote up a script and dragged a bunch of people out there to film it: it took three nights, and the last night of filming we came back to see half of the house was knocked down. Lighting was just...

Radio Soundin' Voice s***
I've been trying to get a good over the radio voice effect, and I've been doing a real crappy job of doing it. Anyways, I know you have to play around with the EQ and everythign, but I haven't made any progress.

RE: Despair of Humanity -- New Film
I enjoyed it, camera work was good (seemed very Children of Men in war-parts). I liked how the shutter speed was amped up right after the dining room table conversation, it really gave ita "boom in your face" feel.Dialogue seemed a bit blah, sounded too faked, or something along those line...

My dad got me alot of business doing commerical and other videos for small companies. The best thing to do is to make business cards: your name, what you do, and a link to your videos or website. Just hand them out, and you'll eventually get some business. Try Vistaprint.com , the cards are free (yo...
