I did all the backgrounds blue screen, which was not a good idea, since it does not work the best with clay. Also I did a lot of dialogue which really sucked. It's done right now, so I could possibly get it online sometime soon.

I CLAY

I just finished an 8 miniute clay animation about a hitman, and needless to say It sucked. I used a lot of blue screen for the backgrounds, and it looked pretty ty. Editing sucked, because there was a lot wrong with it. Overall the film looks alright, but there were long hours of editing to fix stup...

The only problem is inexpensive mics = unimpressive sound. Mine is alright, but the overall quality is not that great, but that's good enough for me right now since my movies all end up on a shelf

I know the new stuff is overcharged, but not the used stuff. Really I will only buy the used stuff there if I want two movies, since you get half off if you buy one.

Ive been using songs. But I don't sell or give away copies. Im starting to get into making my own music, so I don't have to worry about all this s***. But for little projects and stuff, that hardly anyone sees, I use songs. I hardly have anything on the internet right now. If I were ever to put them...

I had to mess around with removal yesterday, but it was a bit different. I did a claymation and I accidentaly got some fingers in the frame on a few shots. All my backgrounds were bluescreen luckily. So in premiere I got the selection I wanted,(where the fingers got in the way), exported as a filmst...

I would like to have credits, but I usually don't since I usually do everything. I may but my name once for all the things I did, like writer/director/editor, but thats it. I really don't need to use a name for every single detail.

Depends on what your looking for. Uni-Directional, Directional, or like a shotgun. I have a $50 uni-directional which is pretty good, but my no means proffesional standard. If you are looking for proffesional it would probably be at least a couple hundred. If your looking for just something decent, ...

It sounds like something after effects could do good. Im just learning it now, but I searched for tutorials and found quite a few text tutorials, like the swarm of bees effect, and exploding text. Im sure if you search for afx tutorials on google you'll find something. Try http://www.creativecow.net...

I was really looking because once I finish my script if it's any good Ill send it places. But if there is no feedback, or it's not really good. Then I would like to do it myself, and I really wouldn't want to do it on a 1 ccd camera. I would at least do it on the xl1.

I would definatley try it out, even if it was just for a miniute or two. Personally I don't have enough money for it. I would rather gain tons of experience on dv.

Yes I know those. When I went to Flordia I bought a couple, and I was looking for Hitchcock, but I couldn't find any. The cases are as good as those free aol cases. I think I might get one of those monster collecters dvds, either dracula, the wolf man, or frankenstein

16 mm

Okay Ive been looking at 16 mm stuff for a little bit right now. I have been using dv, and I like it and will probably continue using it. But, Ive found lots of cheap 16 mm stuff, and was wondering if I should do it. I know about all the costs, but is there anything else I should really know. I mean...

If your doing this in the city I would try and find a smaller part or an alley. If someone sees blood squirting out of a guy, they are going to go crazy.
