You want my opinion??? I think you are all crazy and will blow yourselves to pieces in the near future. You guys need to be a little bit more methodical. What ever happened to Safety? If you go bigger explsions, I am afriad it'll just fireball in your faces! I highly suggest using an electric ignite...

I've held dry ice before. It takes just a little more than just touching it to burn you. It might also depend on how cold the ice is. Right out of the freezer dry ice can be nasty stuff!

At your local dry ice parlor, of course! ;) It depends, really. Check out the yellow pages. Maybe you could find a shop that offers it for sale nearby. I am not sure where you might find some where you live, but I could get it pretty easily. Ask around. Great stuff for halloween! dunk it in a pot of...

If you had Adobe Premiere, you could just open the files and make the titles there. If you don't, I would say try Adobe Encore, and play with your options there. However, if you want something fancy like colorful motion title effects, Encore isn't going to match your needs. Just remember, you have t...

Yeah. Always demand authority and respect as the director. If anyone ever constantly fooled around during one of my films, I would disclude them from any future projects, friend or no friend! I would know that, they would know that. Simply write it down on paper for them and have it signed. Never th...

I was assuming that you already built some halfway decent sets from paper, cardboard, and crayons :D

Naw, I would spend the money elsewhere. :P

Gotcha. Colored contacts can be a little pricey. Stay away from swap meets where sell them; I have heard of people going blind from them.

You know, Grant. I must admit you've pulled off a lot of risky stunts. It's amazing you are still alive. I would recommend if anyone is trying to pull off more than a couple squib shots, call a hospital and request an ambulance to remain at your location. The possibility of someone getting badly inj...

Make sure to have something hard like a metal plate in between the actor and the squib. Being blasted up close and personal by a squib just may hurt, or possibly even be fatal.

You gotta find a dvd writer with nice codec options.

A LOT of dvd player have trouble reading the DVD-RWs. If you can't get a RW to work, try using a DVD-R. That solved most of my problems.

Remember... DVD-R for movies. DVD+R for data. :)

For 15,000 bucks, I'd go and buy myself a beautiful camera. Sony makes some nice pro line camcorders with picture quality good enough to broadcast for around that much.

I would spend it on equipment that can be used over and over rather than props. But thats just me.
