RE: Re: RE: my script so far

I agree with Mr. Humble Guy. The script is a little weak. Someone goes missing? Meh. Thicken the plot a little bit. And put your posts in the right forums!

Sugar Glass Bottle

I'm making a sugar glass bottle and I need a bit of help on the mold. First, what material should I make it out of? Second, how do I hollow out the middle part so that the bottle is not solid sugar glass? Thanks.

Why not just edit in the blowback and invest in a cheaper spring gun? Search the forums, there's a good tutorial somewhere for editing in blowback.

Hearse Rear

I'm making a movie about a hearse driver and am stuck on making the actual hearse. I have a '95 Volvo 850 wagon I'm going to convert. Any suggestions for that rear part? Thanks!

I'm having a friend edit it and he's using Final Cut. I assume that program is a bit more versatile when it comes to an effect like this.

I watched Hollow Point and saw the brick. Nice, but why have a brick in your car? Maybe put it on the accelerator if your foot falls asleep.

Nail guns are cool. Rusty nails would be better. Maybe you could run a CD over something to create sharp edges and then throw it at a zombie like a discus? Takes a little time though, and with a zombie approaching me, I think I'd grab my CD player and chuck it at him. Then run.

Muzzle Flash For Windows Movie Maker

I use Windows Movie Maker (That's why I leave the editing for my better movies for my friends with Final Cut) and I was just wondering if there was ANY way to add in a muzzle flash. Thanks!

I think they're legal just outside San Francisco in San Mateo and around that area. They always have firework booths there. Maybe legislations has changed, I haven't been around there in a while.

RE: Elevator Mock-Up

I'm a little worried about doing it in a public elevator still. No, I'm not discharging blanks, (I'm using airsoft) I was thinking of making a mock up or creating an elevator with green-screen. If I do make one out of green screen, will it look horrible?

And the tripod doesn't shake? Also, I don't really trust my tripod. I'm a bit worried that it will drop the camera off while the car is moving.

SPAS 12's usually have carrying grips that hook onto the end of the folding stock. The grip is shaped like a hook so, if you want to get a little more realistic, it's not that hard to fabricate.

Elevator Mock-Up

I'm in a bit of a dilemma. My movie requires a few scenes (two of which include guns) and I know that there are usually security cameras in public elevators. Should I consult with a janitor or someone else or just play it same and make a mock-up? Thanks!

Securing Camera

I think I might string some luggage straps through the holding strap on the camera and then fasten it to the door. Maybe I'll add something to insulate it and prevent it from picking up the vibrations of the wheel and door like pipe insulator.

Blurring between foreground and background

There is a shot in my movie with a closeup of a man on the phone. He asks the man on the other line, "have you realized that your wife has not returned home yet?" After he says this, the camera blurs the man in the foreground and focuses on a woman with bound hands and a duct-taped mouth i...
