Yeah. I've been doing extensive research, and it looks as if the Sony and Panny shoot in interlaced form. So I'll just set the Canon to 60i, and voila! Problem solved.

but does anyone have a typical youtube video to demonstrate someone who is acting as if reading from a script or who is not acting naturally in a video to show my point? Sure do! I am not proud to say this is mine...but that was filmed a year ago - I am proud at how far I have progressed, as well a...

Why not just shoot on one camera...? Normally I would, but we've got limited time, and we have to finish the scene on that day, with 3 hours. So naturally, it speeds up filming if there are multiple camera angles - therefore we don't have to shoot the same clip time and time again, each with a diff...

Canon XL2+Sony A1U+Panny PV-GS39=progressive or interlaced?

I am filming this Saturday, and for lack of similar equipment will be shooting with these 3 cameras. Now I know its silly to use a cheap Panny with the amazing Canon and Sony, but that's another story... My question: The Sony has the ability to shot 1080i. However, we will be using the DV option ins...

RE: Help with our zombie flick.

Alright, I'll keep that one in mind. We were thinking of having scenes with no zombies bright and maybe a little oversaturated, but scenes with zombies low saturation with the red sticking out...sort of like Sin City, but not as much black and white and red as less color and bright red. How can I ge...

Help with our zombie flick.

We film Saturday. I am only the filmmaker, so I have no idea if this is good or not, but this is our basic script. Can it be improved, and if so would you guys be willing to make it better, so I can let the scriptwriter know? Thanks --------------------- UNTITLED [It’s dark and looking down a...

Yeah, I really do appreciate a good live effect. However, I find it exceedingly hard to set them up, so I have mainly relied on digital, although I would much prefer not to. Money and safety is just too high a priority for me. But in our upcoming zombie flick, we'll have live fx, so I'm looking forw...

Ok, well I am scheduled to go sailing Lake Erie this Sunday. I will be getting some footage for a Battle of 1812 doc at school. I doubt you will need anything, but if so, let me know and I will get some specific footage.

I don't just pretend to be darth vader and go light-saber someone. Isn't acting about pretending?? Yeah rhys, well, my actors don't go around pretending to be karate kids or clones. Well, I'll let you go off and pretend to be a vampire now. I now can't wait for your film - with all the thinking tim...

Couldn't you just use a watering can just above and in front of the camera for the effect/ Would that work?

I really want to be able to finish my film before September. Once school starts, no actors will have free time to do anything, handily cutting me out of the competition. I will also be much busier.
