you could tape invisible string to the bottom card of the deck and tape another piece on a card in the middle of the deck. so off screen someone could pull the two string releasing them in the air.....

its latex but in its liquid form ....i think you can use it to make latex prosthentics. i have some and i just brush a plop of it on wax paper and use it for cuts or gashes....

if you mix a batch of about 1 cup water 1 cup cornstarch and then drop some food coloring in it it makes a good spray paint effect and it also dries really really quick so if you need it to be on for awhile...then you could wash it off....

you could do what evil dead did stop motion, or if you have video effects programs you could simply draw the veins in photoshop with a transparent background then import it to the effects program...then make it fade in....

thats why you should just cut a plastic bottle in half, pour in a thin layer on both halfs then when its dry or something pop them out then seal them together. i havnt tried it so i dunno if it works....

if you mix the right amount of flour and water till its kinda water and kinda think and then i guess you can just poor it on the concrete or make molds like pancakes and when they are done paint it with a nice gloss and it should break easily....

I can't beleive you guys are actually recommended smoking pot for the effect. That's like me saying, "dude we need some reall blood so to add to the effect I'll actually going to stab you with this real knife!" well those are completly different, making blood for a movie has many alternat...

im guessing if your making a movie about drugs youve probably smoked yourself, so then i recomend going out and smoking some doobies heh. but you can also just wash your eyes and rub them, it works the same....
