My favorite, because I listen to it all the time is: Band of Brothers, by Michael Kamen. I know it's not a movie, but in no way is it a mini series!

RE: Setting

You could try to get a BIG blue screen and just get pictures, or make them (depending if the movie is in color), of 1920's buildings.

I liked the first one the most, the second was not all that too involed. But the first was just people being killed, nothing else. You can make it even better by doing what Night of the Living Dead did: let the characters talk more and more as they are trapped, it will make viewers much more sad to ...

Actors are still beging casted, only two more. Props are set except for the Mg-42 (the person making it got it taken away by a police officer). Costumes are set. And the set is always there, because it's near my backyard. I'll try to post some pictures soon.

RE: Italian music

If you have Counter Strike go into the sound files and look for opera, that's good and not copyrighted!

RE: DTV Opening Scene: Need Feedback

Yea, tell your actors to really hit each other, that's what I do; It works great, but sometimes we have to take a break because they hit each other too hard. And make sure to tell them not to eat alot before filming, it gets a little messy!

I think having the actors act unexperienced added to the realism, if anyone remembers there was a draft going on and it just shows how fast they were sending out these recruits and how little training they got before sending them out.

RE: DTV Opening Scene: Need Feedback

I thought that the gun attack response was kind of cheesy as well, he pushes out his hands and yells no, but doesn't he have a gun? Why doesn't he use it; if someone just shot my girlfriend I would at least fire a few shots at the car. Also that could play as an important plot elment: everyonce and ...

The smoke for the tank I used Adobe Photoshop, and used the spraypaint tool (with the fog setting) and did a little bit saved, spray a little bit saved, and continued until I felt I had enough. Then put it together in Adobe Animationshop at 10 frames a second, then put it in Windows Movie Maker and ...

It was out of focus because I just ran outside before it got dark and took a picture with a camera. Thanks, I'll make sure to fix the tank fire.
