Well, I just want emotion, mostly talking scenes that we shoot are...not good. They're watchable, but not great. Interesting info Anderson, I think acting like you are the character would really help. What helps/makes a good talking scene?

Speed (not the movie)
In FCEHD, sometimes when I try to speed up clips it says, "trim error" or close to that. Anyone know why/how to fix it?

I take a small copper pipe, 3 inches long maybe and I put a spring inside. Then, nail a nail in the bottom to hold it in place. Nail in another nail in the middle and make sure it's loose, so the nail will come out easily. Then tape the top part of the spring, pull it back, stick in the nail, put in...

Drama-ness
Well, for the first time I've decided to write a script  And actually use it. It's going to be a drama type, but I'm still thinking of a storyline. The most emotion the actors have done in a movie is screaming when they get shot, so my question is how to make a scene emotional, and how for an...

Lol, I like the diagram. Ok, I decided torun an ethernet cable through my ceiling, and over to my Xbox. I'm going to skip the router, and just connect, and disconnect every time. It's not the fastest DSL so, wouldn't using the Xbox and comp. with both on the internet, make them laggy? Both of them s...

Thanks, I thought for sure to go wireless, Microsoft sure plugged it on their site. Anyways, It will take a while to get a router, since my modem only has one ethernet port, so I'm going to disconnect it from my computer and try a direct connection, because I really want to get on Live. But, my pare...

DSL and XBOX Live
Okay....
I just got a Qwest DSL modem and I was wondering how to hook up to Xbox live. Should I go wireless or try running an ethernet cable 20 feet? I have a Mac too, so would that be a problem? Quick help appreciated, thanks.

With two people it takes a real long time to get all the shots. Yes it does. You could try a google search for sounds. What sounds do you need? Bullet hits, gunshots etc.? If you have wiretap or a sound recording program you could record the BoB sounds. Try a search on Matthawkins, there's been pre...

Sony HDR-HC1 HDV Camcorder
Cheapest HD camera I've seen, it looks awesome, it's small and it's hd. Has anyone used this before? If I had 2,000 dollars I'd buy it. Does anyone know of an even cheaper HD camera?

RE: Shotguns that eject shells
You could take apart a toy one and insert a spring that shoots out a shell. It would be easier to go digital though.

RE: question about muzzle flashes
Definitely have a muzzle flash, but remember not to add them in for every bullet in the case of an automatic. I wouldn't paint them in, but find a picture of one, cut around it, resize it and put it in. Painted ones won't look as good as pictures.

Nail Board
Hi I was trying to find out how to set off these black cat fireworks by using a nailboard, to make a machine gun hit effect. Does anyone know how to do this with wire, a battery, nail, board etc.? Any information would be helpful, and these are on the ground, not on a person so it gives a little fle...

Snowy Camera Problem
Hey I have a Canon ES8400 and it won't playback video, all I get is snow. I've tried tapes I know there's footage on and nothing shows up. I tried recording some footage and playing it back right away and I still get snow. It's in good condition, but I don't know, is it the tapes or the camera? Any ...
