hey anyone know a good tutorial for blocking out a person in an explosion?

I have the actor run with a bowlingball. Put the camera behind him and have him drop it on the pivot board. You could also do the same thing with the explosion in the background and mask him out.

im going to try this right now, but it might work. lasso tool around the guy copy and paste. Multiple frames though might not work

o and firecrackers, bottle rockets are illegal in my state (minnesota)

My friend has a slingshot that i can use and ill put a little flour on the dirt to make sort of a dust cloud

im looking for a good way to do mine or bomb (droppeed out of a plane) explosions. Ive tried the way where tha actor runs on a board which sends dirt into the air, and a board on a log hit by a sledgehammer. flour, dirt and sand look real good. Should i try using stock footage?

i need help making my gunshot hits look a little better. I have a weed sprayer with a hose attached and it just doesnt look as good as i want it to with only blood. thanks
