RE: Concept Intro for POD

Yeah, the idea seemed so good for so long, but after watching it over and over again I have decided to 'beef it up' a little, by adding a dialogue track, and changing the visuals, I am trying to cut the length but it is looking difficult if I want to keep the original idea of using the opening credi...

My post was not meant to be a insult or put down, I just know someone will pop up and say 'how irresponsible' etc, I just wanted to make my position clear from the start lol! Hope the pictures help. it is very easy and with your experience with pyrotechnics you should have no problem making the set ...

I have put a series of pictures on my website (I could not find the site I got the pictures from) that show in step by step phase, how to make squibs. before anyone has a pop, I assume that anyone that goes down this route is sensible, mature etc etc it's all about sharing information. if you are un...

there is a site that shows how to make squibs fire using the initiators from model rockets, I will find it and pop a link in, it is very easy to do and the instructions are full colour photos giving step by step instructions.

the earth that you are putting ontop will be very loose and as it is shallow it will not weigh much so she should have no problems hearing you, as long as she can push herself out I can see no immediate problems. make sure though that the tube is of a good diameter as even a minimal amout of weight ...

Concept Intro for POD

Most of my stuff goes through this rough stage, was intending to haver more but deciede for this concept to keep it as simple as I could, your thoughts would be appreciated. things like the jerkyness of the pans I am aware of and the mixed fade directions (but I kind of like them, thank you NASA) ht...

very nice indeed, I really enjoyed it. nice plot twist, very simple and very effective. Makes a change to have the woman as the villian even though he was no angel! lol.

RE: New Horror Script

I think with regards to the format it is just the way it comes out, we are used to readign quirky by now, the script is good and has potential for bigger better things, are you looking at developing this more? you are being very ambitious with your sfx, can you pull them off? and there was a lot of ...

buried alive, or running out of air whilst scuba diving and not having enough to reach the surface (nearly happened once when diving the Blue Hole when my 2nd stage popped and I was terrified!)

I like it, but dont worry about the title, make up one for a working title and as you move through a name willcome to you that is relevent and appropriate.

Again, outstanding! love the racing spoon! a slight bit of customisation and there you have it! You might want to get your actors some towels and simple gloves. Sandstorms can be harsh. Also, it's common practice to sew your blood type on your helmet band, or like in the Army, on your chest. Some tr...

What the heck is a geeze?!
Geezer: 1) an alternative name for bloke or man. an English word normaly associated with London cockney types.
2) A bad way of spelling a brisk gust of wind (see: Breeze)

P.S. I was born in Croyden before anyone jumps up and down on me. :rifle:

for night time shots outside, I have used a car inspection Halogen lamp that plugs in to the ciggy lighter, loads of cable, and with the headlamps on you can adjust lighting from the side with the inspection lamp.

RE: Test for 1642

I can not comment on the CGI apart from way better than anything I can do , the minitaure shgot need to be les jerky with the cam, and I must agree with Outcast when he says: you'd be better off using a combination of miniatures and photoshopped 'matte paintings' based on photographs. You definitely...

Finally! that was fun! I too, like the way that you made the whole story go 360o, the SFX were very imaginative with vasaline covered ropes etc, the fade of the victims head was entertaining. all in all a very good little short with many points going in its favour, Lighting, angles etc, my only crit...

I liked it very much, not so much Clint Eastwood but more Jack Nicholson! shame about the camera work when he looks around after 'losing' the burrito, I waish the camera had have been smoother, it was way to jerky, and agin, the shot of the camera looking down on him in bed would have benifited from...

I don't know if you want to try painting the dirt; I've found that just rubbing the weapon with chalk (you know, the kind kids use on sidewalks) every so often gives it an authentic "dusty" look. a few strokes of white chalk over the high wear parts, and a bit of surface dust to break it ...

RE: WW2 Script "The Enemy Within" Revised

the chuckle worked well , but still nice and cheesy, there they are in the heart of a battle to the death and Tompkins (good honest name) gets all funny. lol as for a back story it is a fine line to judge, a lot will depend on the finished length, if it is too short you are not going to get enough s...
