I can understand what Grant stated, as far as seeing everything as a step, and I agree with that. But I also think that you can see how much you've improved by doing a remake, and seeing how you might go about it with the knowledge you currently have(similar to what Epsilon stated). As for me actual...

Haha, thanks wildstorm, I'm glad someone is able to relate. It just seems that just about everyone is a part of a group of 2+ people, which is a HUGE advantage over what I've got. Simply having someone to give their input is crucial at times. But oh well, next year at Purdue I'll have lots of classm...

Yes, I understand what you guys are saying. And there are times where I'll be watching something, and get an idea, but as soon as I get excited about it, I lose interest, thinking it wouldn't come out good. Seeing as I'm the only one in about a 50 mile radius that actually has an interest in making ...

Incentive?

I always tend to have a tough time finding a subject to use as a basis for a movie...Regardless, it's one of the most difficult parts for me. I'm just curious where some of you get your ideas? What do you use as incentive for your plots? I usually try and aim for short films, but I find myself wanti...

Only ones I had a chance to watch, were Anathema and The Duel. I enjoyed both very much! I liked how all the sequences were linked together in Anathema...The music had a good feel to it, tying the movie together. Thanks Kentertainment- I personally like it. Suits me just fine. If I remember correctly, I drew up the logo in Photoshop, then animated it and stuff in ULEAD (i believe) COOL 3D. It was a demo, so I don't have it as a reference anymore, but if I remember correctly that was its title. WinDog- It's a...

I did something like that one time, but I used a timecode from Premiere. I was doing a video project for an invention, and I did one of those "home shopping network" type of infomercials, and I used that timer and had it countdown. It worked just fine, might be something to look into...

Umm...Actually, I dont know...When I first got my computer I downloaded Service Pack 2, which if you dont have, I'd suggest getting. I've never messed with version 1.0. Did you try it?
