Clarence are you talking about the ones from the side that begins with one person in frame and ends with all three?

RE: Re: RE: Goodbye Laughter -- New Film
One thing I really haven't understood is how you dudes who always help me with films question what I am doing. I'd think by now there'd be a sort of trust bond between each other. I'm not saying everyone does it often...just every now and then. Anyway, anybody else have an critique or just something...

RE: 2ND D DAY TEASER
Like you said, it's basically the same. One thing that you should avoid is double-lined text that is too short. For instance...a single line of text was the word "Life" which you could have reduced the text size and easily fit that all into one frame. Also... the "..." doesn't re...

Goodbye Laughter -- New Film
This film was created for a multimedia class as the final assignment and after taking two days to film last month I finally got around to finishing the film. I debated with myself whether I wanted to use text as narration or an actual person. It turns out I just don't know anybody with a great narra...

Yep. We have an angle from the interior of the car, down on the street looking head-on, and another on the street looking at an angle, I'm just saving the rest for the actual movie. My only issue is the slippers are actually flying off on their own so there really isn't control over where they go an...

RE: Breakaway Chair
Balsa wood is what's used in films so that is the way to go. The only drawback is Balsa wood is very expensive and you can either A. blow $100 making your own chair that you know might not work or look good or you can B. buy one for $200. http://www.actionprops.com/page/page/2273725.htm If you used ...

Hit by Car - Video Included
This weekend we began filming our latest short film titled What's Wrong With You?! It is a dark comedy/dramady about a person who attempts to commit suicide. When his friends find out they (well...one of the two) decide to have an intervention to fix the problem and along the way the three realize w...

RE: MY NEW D-DAY MOVIE TRAILER
It's a little misleading when you call it a trailer when in fact it's only a teaser. There was no actual footage aside from the beach and some text overlay on the screen. Still, when you get an actual trailer up I'll check it out.

I use Sony Vegas 7.0, although I started with version 5. I was using some dinky $80 program created by the Sonic Foundry company called Video Explosion Deluxe and I was looking for something more professional and more manageable so I could expand my editing abilities. Gyro was using Adobe Premiere a...

Don't mean to pry but are you thinking of doing a film degree? I am. I'm still thinking if I want to either major or minor in it. Are you hoping to be a director working from ur own indy stuff to getting picked up 'one day' or are you intending to try and work from inside the system hehe (if you do...

It is centered around Film and Music and there are multiple classes that can be attended to enhance your filmmaking knowledge. Amature drama movies suck. Why hasn't anyone ever done a romance? Too manly? Too private? No girlfriends? No boyfriends? Amateur dramas don't suck. This film was made in a week with iMovie and I think it's pretty stellar. http://www.studentfilms.com/film/view/play.do?id=2167 By the way, I think you...

Ah yes, I remember this when you first posted the trailer. It looks really well made. Unfortunately I couldn't view the clip because it is a "Malformed video ID"

RE: Sony Vegas 6 help needed!
I wouldn't necessarily call myself a legend, but you are welcome. The slo-mo stuff is really tricky in Vegas for some reason, mainly just getting your audio track to match your visual, but with practice you'll get use to it.
