RE: Havens Path 2 : Forest Of Woe
Some nice FX. Too much motion blur and interpolated SloMo. Id' rather speed certain moves up by dropping single frames, as seen EG. in Bourne Identity (cut the frame where the fist is on its way to the chin, so the hit looks superfast) Gloom FX where nice, a contrast to the theme. Never seen them in...

Well done. Not exactly the script I'd use, but it's good work. And good actors too.

RE: Blood, Guts & Gore!
As far as I see your fake blood link doesn't show any fake blood tutorial. Anyway, here's a quick way to make fake blood: Good ol Ketch-Up, of course, then add small amounts of magenta and yellow Ink (not the expensive Printer Refill Ink), until it looks ok. Ketch-Up without Ink is too much transpar...

I think it depends on the owner of the copyright, who doesn't have to be the composer (like Michael Jackson who bought a lot of Beatles songs, I doubt they will be PD in 2015)

I wonder what Rayman has to do with Indy
I think bluescreen is the easiest way for this. simply use some blue wear on blue background, there you go.

That's what they said in the tv show, and they also demonstrated it. the guy said the boiling point (so to say) of ethanol is around room temperature and this was the reason why it works. Also I have bought 1 Litre Ethanol lately and the guy in the drugstore said this was pure (96%) Alcohol, with th...

Yeah, they are really cheap. Tho it seems to me they are not fully correct copies, compare: Softair: http://airbullseye.com/P_58.htm Original: http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg09-e.htm (Trigger Protector is diffrent) And this (correct me if I'm wrong) should be a Cobray MAC11, that looks completely d...

The dry ice bomb is just a snippet from jolly rogers cookbook, a number of bomb building tutorials with suicidal tendencies, EG. they often use Potassium Chlorate, that is known to be the reason for most accidents in pyrotechnics. You may have tried dry ice in a bottle, and I didn't say it won't wor...

I enjoyed it very much. The progress between GUTS, MTL and Hollow Point is huge. I say huts off since making a movie without a budget does not only mean to have a uber idea and cool SFX, but also to get your team of actors etc. together and keep them together until the project is complete, and this ...

Thanks a lot! I think I'll use them in my current project. What credits would you like, something like Music & Sound FX Terror Media Inc ? or would you prefere "Tyler Barnett"? BTW here's a suggestion, maybe you should upload 8KHz Mono quality mp3s of each track, plus - as you already ...

then just use any colored liquid. UFP - A few days ago they made some expreiments in a science tv show and they tried several things with cigarettes: fuel, diesel and ethanol (that is pure alcohol). The ethanol was the only one that worked. They also said in hollywood productions ethanol is used for...

RE: Molotov Cocktail
I think anything from the anarchists cookbook is very unsave. Also, Alcohol and Aceton are not as save as gasoline since evapoating alcohol and aceton is highly flammable, may be ignited even by a cigarette. Gasoline isn't, you can dop a cigarette into a pot full of gasoline, it's save. (well, it wi...

That's great! Very nice sound quality. I like the strings in "Realms Of Terror". That screem is cr**, but other than that: real cool. Real impressive Bass. How do you mean:
"Free for you to download!!!" ? Does this mean e're allowed to use these two songs as movie soundtrack?

This is a great site for buying cheap professional, orchestra movie soundtrack licenses: http://www.audiolicense.net/tracks_print.asp?type=1&l1=&l2=Ian+Hughes&l3=&l1c=&l2c=5&l3c= (well that's a list of Ian Hughes Compositions, but when you go to the main page, they got a big ...

RE: Decent low budget explosion
Dry ice in a bottle and then RUN?... you won't even be able to RUN since the bottle will explode in the moment you close it, when it's a glass bottle. You forgot to mention one should use a synthetic Pet 2L bottle with dry ice, this will give an delay from say 30 seconds to 15 minutes, depending on ...

and, you may buy one of the pre-assembled kiddy toy helicopters, not a kit you have to assemble yourself with glue and stuff (those kits are more costy and a lot of work) The kids toy helicopters may lack of certain details, but when you use a nervous camera with a bit of motion blur here and there ...
