Be careful of the arrangement you play LOL, even though the original score is PD, if it was an arrangement done by someone else, of Mozart's work, there may well still be a valid copyright on that arrangement...

Are you exporting the clip from the timeline or from the bin? you need to select the work area in the timeline before exporting, if the clip in the bin is still highlighted, then you are exporting the original clip without the effects.
