RE: Beginning of script and i

umm.....Thats exactly like the beginning of American History X. Even the names are the same. I wanted you to see that to get inspired, get some ideas....not to rip off. Hate to come down on you, but that really is way to close to AHX. You need to majorly rework it. A total overhaul. Start fresh. PM ...

Only the beginning

Here is the first scene of a script I started to write awhile back. I have the rest of the story vaguely pictured in my mind, with 2 possible endings. This beginning is actually towards the end, the rest of the story would be a flashback basically. Im trying to piece together the details and come up...

haha, yeah, the casings arent exactly "flying" out of there. But, with some good gunshot sounds and maybe a few nice muzzle flashes, youd have a very nice gun for filmmaking. Damn good idea to whoever thought of it.

I agree completely Lawriejaffa. You can easily see that Gyro has a clear vision for what he wants on film. And breaking past the standards and cliches of movies and adding your own artistic voice to a genre is what counts, explosions are cool...but if you've seen one, you've seen'em all. "Munic...

First off, the camerawork and editing were beautiful. The cuts were perfect, some of them just couldn't have been better. Most of the music had the right cinematic feel and fit in quite well too. My only issue, and its already been mentioned a little, was the acting. It was very dry and distant. The...
