After watching it all, I'd say that the main problem being that I couldn't understand what was happening, and the whole running with a camera thing was kind of unnerving and unfamiliar. Sorry. Also, it seemed that there was no need for the school to be there at all, and some of the sound effects wer...

Re: RE: Filming: Study it or just do it?

I remember it for me when starting out: I would watch movies and just see certain scenes that I liked. And just mimic'd them. Like in HEAT where the camera zooms in alittle bit at the guard's back who has his hand up, or a similar scene from Black Hawk Down, where it has a eye level shot of a handh...

I'm sorry, but I have to say that I found that tedious. The sound was bad, and you didn't bother to use a tripod. Also - nothing happened!

I reckon the problem with the sound was the music. You can hear the sound just fine (I use an external microphone) with no music but I always forget to turn the volume of the music down when adding it. Thanks for your comments, anyway!

Re: RE: Pressured - Scene 4 (school film)

Horrays for Lost music! 'Twas good, I quite liked the camera work, had something of a documentary feel to it, and the dolly shots were superb. Some of the fighting lacked force, but all in all was quite well done. Will you be posting the whole shebang at any point? YOU NOTICED!!!! Haha, yes, I will...

Grow up, Jperson. There's nothing really more to say - every aspect of it was horrible, down to the editing, sound and cinematography.
