RE: Re: RE: Trying to make a website

Just looked again, well what do you know, it doesn't! I'll probably order that. Two questions though, one: is there anything else I should know about before ordering, and two: if I have a site up already at geocities, can i just move my site to brivtech, or how does that work? Thanks again.

RE: Trying to make a website

Thanks, i'll look into all of these. EDIT: Ok just looked at them, but they all have restrictions like, you need to have all copyrights, and no violence. The movies i want to post up have violence and one has a matrix parody, and i don't have copyrights on any of the music. is there any way i can ge...

It helps to know people. For example, I was able to film a big firefight at a high school because my dad taught there. Talk to people you know and find out if any of them can let oyu into their workplaces to film. Doing this you can get access to offices, schools etc.

RE: question about muzzle flashes

Look here: http://www.matthawkins.co.uk/index.php? ... d=5&pid=36 There is a zip file with some muzzle flashes you can put in your movie if you have premiere or any other program that does keying effects.

Trying to make a website

I've been trying to make a website on geocities to showcase some of the movies i've done, but i don't have enough storage space on the site for them. Any ideas for an alternate way of getting my movies online? I don't want to spend a lot of money either. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks Grant! Now I don't have to go to the store every time I want a target to shoot at! i also think you could probably come up with games to play with some of them. Especially the pool balls one.

How do i upload video?

I am trying to make a website on Geocities, and I can't figure out how to put a video on the site. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Funny script. Post it up when you're done. I like the cheesy documantary feel of it. Make sure the actors play it serious though.

How about take a sickle, sneak up behind one, embed the sickle in the zombies upper back(At the base of the neck) twist it around a little, and sever it's spinal chord. Or you could play Manhunt and get some ideas from that.

Personally, I appreciate that Maj barnes is trying to make a digital blood splatter for those of us that would like to do digital blood, and I think that since we are all filmmakers here, we should try to work TOGETHER to achieve the best results we can. And if he animates a better, more realistic l...

You could use a light wood and use metallic spray paint. That always shines right. In fact I used a similar technique in the last film I just finished where I spray painted some bricks gold in order to use them as gold bullion. They gave off the right shine and I think you could do the same thing. A...

I know someone that sells stormtrooper kits. They come with all the armor pieces, the helmet(you have to do a little assembly), and most of the assembly is velcroing the armor together. All this is for about $600, including shipping. It doesn't include the black undersuit , but you can get those at ...

If your filming out in the woods, you could bring gallons upon gallons of water, put them in garden watering cans(the kind that, when you pour the water out, it sort of simulates a small rainstorm), Have some buddys climb up trees and pour away.

I thinks that the blood needs to look a little less "misty" and a little more "liquidy" and "splattery"(is that a word?). Aside from that, i hope to see more of it. as it is, I wouldn't use it, but with a little improvement, i might be able to use something like that. I...

RE: Dramatic movie

Those are some interesting ideas i'll definitely consider. And I actually had a scene that addresses the crazy issue where the guy goes to a psychiatrist and asks for help, and the psychiatrist(Man that is one annoying word to write) says that since the guy loves his hallucinatory wife, and doesn't ...

RE: Rain

I think www.detonationfilms.com has some free rain effects you can composite on your video footage. Aside from that, a garden sprinkler should work fine. Or maybe one of those hose nozzles that have a bunch of settings including gentle shower, which if you use it right would look like rain.

I came up with an idea for a movie a few days ago, and thought it was an interesting idea, so I thought about what the plot could be, and here's what i've got so far: a guy is happily married to a woman he loves very much. This woman's name for now is Hillary. We'll call the guy Scott for now. Anywa...

RE: Does anyone know any goodmusic programs????

You could probably use a synthesizer. I'm not an expert, but i do know that many synthesizers have a thing where you play a tune on one instrument, then another instrument and another, and when your done it combines them all to give you a complete orchestral piece. If you want to know more about thi...
