Wishful Thinking... Motion capture is expensive and cant be found for under 50,000 dollars it requires the program, then the sensors which are the basis of motion capture and then a tracker i believe. So if you have 50,000 dollars lying around then check out FAMOUS3D or Alias MoCap or Alias Motion B...

No i mean like in the moive Grayson he takes a 13 inch spraypainted figurine and sets it up close to the camera and the actor far away so it looks like a big statue.

I made a very cheap wire rig out of things I already had pulleys, carabiner, climbing rope,etc. But its sort of shakey and i dont have anyway to control the angles it is at. Actually it shows in the extra features that elijah was set farther back from the camera in some scenes like in the wagon with gandalf his seat is farther back and in other scenes he just had large items or sets.

i still dont understand how if i film a stream i can make it look like a street is flooding i wouldnt know how to go about destroying rocks with 3d and i couldnt use a firehydrant because i want like a huge wave blast down through the street

yeah shame im not big budget but when i say flood i mean like huge wave rushing through town down a street i think im going what meade said and make models of the picture with clay and to make it more realistic i think im going to have it be pour from around a corner of the model so it looks like it...

when i first got it thats all i could figure out just find tutorials on the internet for effects and they often explain how to go about doing everything and once you understand the effect you can start apply the same sort of technique to other effects also just play around with the different tools.
