Cool I'll look into that. I saw Rikki-oh! last night and there was a training scene where the master was throwing headstones at his pupil, and the pupil would punch the stones, turning them to dust.

I can't find anything on what the compound is though.

Fake cinder blocks?

Does anyone know how to make those fake cinder blocks or concrete slabs that crumble into dust on impact?

My suggestion is to not do the stunt unless you're 110% positive you know exactly what you're doing.

Wow. STORY STORY STORY. I can't emphisize that enough. You can forgive a lot when you've got a good story, which is non existent in this piece.

I think you did pretty good with what you had to work with though.

RE: Purchasing & Using Green Screen..

Well one option is to build a background out of wood and painting it green. I'm told that there are large rolls of paper that come in that color, but I'm not sure where you could find that.

Hoo-boy. Very nice first-look. I think this has the potential to be the next Grayson!

I look forward to seeing the finished product.

RE: Dummy making

I'm working on a project now where I'm considering using a dummy for some of the stunts. I'd like to add the question of what works well for stuffing and for the "skin"? I'll also suggest going to the hardware store and building and inserting a basic sketetal frame out of wood and hinges f...

Sorry I was thinking about something else. Yes, you have nothing to worry about as long as there's no profit involved.

RE: a little help with copyright

Technically yes, you are breaking the law, but 9 times out of 10 they won't persue it unless it's making money. For example, Sandy Collera's Batman and Superman shorts are copywritten characters but it's not for sale or distribution and he's had no problems. On the other hand, there's a popularJames...

RE: a little help with copyright

No because you're using a character to which you do not have the rights for. Anything you do with this film that makes you money will put it well within their rights to sue you for copyright infringement.

I've been toying with the idea of using wire stunts for an upcoming production. If I were to do one based on this setup, where would I want the cables connecting to the harness to be if I'm wearing a suit? Do I need to make a hole in back of the shirt and suit jacket for the wires to come out to do ...
